the Economy › Taxes

Foreign Policy › Mandatory Military Service
8>8 Personal answerI'm more in support of state service. Within this people can be shuffled around a bunch of roles which includes roles in the military. So maybe over x time people can go through y different roles that they've selected. The roles available to people will be based off some tests that can be prepared for as part of the states education system I guess. |
the Economy › Welfare Drug Testing
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Healthcare › Healthcare Privatisation
8>8 Personal answerI feel happy with things, I haven't had an issue but I do need to understand our healthcare system in more detail. |
Immigration › Muslim Immigrant Ban
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Domestic Policy › Woman Quotas
8>8 Personal answerThis is confusing. I'd like to see more women in positions of power. I'd ideally like that to come about naturally. However that might be denying the reality of how things work. I sort of liked the idea of a female and male representative as a pair for an electorate. I need to think about how I feel about this more. |
Domestic Policy › Drug Policy
8>8 Personal answerI am curious about what impact decriminalising drug use has. I'm against severe addiction and people taking drugs that mind as well be poison. That side of things can maybe be managed. The other thing is what impact this has on the drug cartels. So if it looks like decriminalising it can meet the outcome I want on that side of things than I support it. |
Healthcare › Marijuana
8>8 Personal answerYes |
the Environment › Coal Seam Gas
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Crime › Adler A110 Ban
8>8 Personal answerI have no stance on this because I don't know what it is and how it's different to the guns people can already legally own. |
Immigration › Boat Immigrants
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Crime › Drug Trafficking Penalties
8>8 Personal answerNo, I do not believe in the death penalty |
Science › Nuclear Energy
8>8 Personal answerYes |
Domestic Policy › Live Exports
8>8 Personal answerIn situations where the transport is because someone is intending to buy the animals to raise/breed, than live transport is the only way. In situations where it's to have fresher meat, it is probably unnecessary. For both of these though, I'm against the animals being transported experiencing cruelty and bad conditions. If those issues can be mitigated than I have no qualms. |
Transportation › Public Transportation
8>8 Personal answeridk |
Elections › Criminal Politicians
8>8 Personal answerNo |
Healthcare › Safe Haven
8>8 Personal answerWhen it comes to the illegal usage of drugs. There are a number of things I don't like. When it comes to people using drugs I'm not too fussed if they remain normal functioning human beings. I don't like it when drug use leads to severe addiction with lots of negative consequences for an individual. So the risk of overdose is something that could be averted with safe havens, it would also provide a way of monitoring drug usage amongst people, and potentially help people who have been too severely impacted by their usage of drugs. The serious reason for why I feel anti drugs is because of the criminal groups that make money of it and the horrible actions they do using the money gained and also to keep making money from it. Like I know people who take cocaine and I don't care that they are taking it, I care that they're purchase is related to this whole fucked up network of crime. Predominantly I'm thinking of what I've read with how Mexican Gangs operate. |
