Yes, and we should look at why they have refused available shelter i.e. maybe they have had bad experiences before

Their mental health should be considered a factor and it should be collaborative with their primary carer/family. There should be options that create a safe environment for those who find themselves homeless

No - but create more social programs to provide food, clothing, education, medicine, and psychological support.

Yes, but create specific areas where it is encouraged to stay that can provide services and security.

 @B2RLKPGanswered…2wks2W

Yes, so long as the area is maintained by the individuals, however if the area is not properly maintained they should be removed and forced into proper housing.

Providing options for those with pets to be able to go to housing without having to part with theirs

 @B2MJPPRanswered…3wks3W

Merely removing homeless encampments without offering alternative housing and support services fails to address the root causes of homelessness and perpetuates the cycle of poverty. A more effective approach involves providing permanent housing, mental health services, and job training programs to help individuals rebuild their lives and reintegrate into society. This comprehensive strategy priorities compassion and evidence-based solutions while addressing the concerns of both homeless individuals and the community. Until the government can provide this homeless people need somewhere to reside.

Upstream causes of homelessness should be addressed i.e. Unaffordability, Addiction/Mental Illness, FDV. Access to essential services should be guaranteed and then camping in Parks and on Public Property should be discouraged.
