No, not at this stage; lab-grown meat requires further studies into the long term health effects related to its consumption, which may be associated with its creation and growth; diets that closely resemble the Mediterranean diet, or feature less red meat, should be more widely promoted, in order to reduce the toll of livestock farming on the environment, and excessive animal slaughter.

No, I think is disgusting and I also believe that putting animals such as chickens, pigs and cows into factories and feeding them grains and seeds and murdering them brutally rather than having them on a farm free ranging and living a good life is inhumane as they were not meant to be put in a factory and have a drill go through their skulls in order to k!ll them

Yes and No. How about mitigating the consumption of meat and addressing its environmental impacts. The same way that there is now a limit of the amount of eggs one can purchase in a supermarket, there should be limits on the amount of meat that can be purchased to ensure that our exploitation of natural resources is regulated and that less waste occurs.

 @B526L7Nanswered…1yr1Y

Yes, as long as testingnis done to ensure said meats are safe for consumption and disclaimers are provided to consumers

 @B4VHM8Manswered…1yr1Y

Yes, after more in-depth studies to ensure safety, and only if it is declared clearly on packaging and in restaurants

 @B4SLKGHanswered…1yr1Y

No, instead there should be a focus on holding breeders and slaughter-houses accountable for sustainable and ethical farming

 @B4D8JNJanswered…1yr1Y

Meat Department shouldn't be able to put out propaganda about so called health benefits of meat. Alternative proteins to meat should be promoted more

No. Australia thrives on the meat industry and we should instead invest in research to use cattle to assist agriculture (cycling land, fertilizer, etc.)
