I don’t believe anyone should be forced to but I also don’t believe it’s them on the government to bend over backward to accommodate to everyone outside of the most common languages.

I don't think they should be made to learn English, but I do believe that is should be recommended to help the immigrants assimilate, and as such government should provide free language learning courses.

Access to English language education should be easy and free for migrants, but there should not be a legislative requirement to learn English to immigrate.

Immigrants (who are not on temporary visas) should be required to learn English to a high A2 or low B1 CEFR level. This is an intermediate level of proficiency that should allow people to navigate most day-to-day situations, while not being so restrictive as to require the more abstract and nuanced expression of a C1 or C2 CEFR level.

Yes, but let English speakers the opportunity to teach them, therefore provides more employment for Australians

It is their choice, if they want to learn English I feel they should be provided with free English lessons

No, but we should provide free and easy access to language learning courses. Immigrants struggle without English, so it's in their best interest to learn. It doesn't need to be mandated, but making it easier for them to learn will help everyone.

Depending on the age of immigrant. If 40 or under yes we should facilitate English language education
