I think there should be a 3 level subsidy scheme. Welfare recipients & students, minimum wage earners, rich people. Maybe they could have a system that works similar to rent control.

Yes, and provide more free public transportation and spend some of it towards environmentally friendly solutions

Fares should be on a public transport subscription platform to encourage more people to pay. Fines for freeloaders should be higher. Free public transport should be granted for people with disabilities, students and pregnant women/ parents with children.
Reduce funding on METRONET's Mid-Tier Public Transport program, as it is being used as an undercover way of increasing road capacity for private vehicles as opposed to creating more efficient bus services. Increase funding on increasing residential density around high patronage bus/passenger rail stops/stations, bus priority measures and reallocation of traffic lanes to dedicated bus lanes (with enforcement to stop general traffic using bus lanes, such as on Fitzgerald St, Beaufort St)

Yes if it goes towards more efficient services such as the fast train to help link Australian cities

Yes, but it must go towards greatly improving efficiency, safety and coverage and value across the board

 @B2RP6KDanswered…2mos2MO

Yes in suburban and rural areas. City areas already get plenty of funding, there are not enough stops in suburban areas.

 @B2R3CYManswered…2mos2MO

Yes but for the money to go to region and rural areas. The cities have enough public transport facilities while the country has next to zilch

Financially no. The amounts, Keep it simple, low and environmentally friendly. This answer goes for Buses, Train, Tram, Ferry.
