By and large schools are useless - I would recommend the government gets rid of them

Some basics should remain centralised, including distribution of water, food, shelter, education and health-care. States should put forth their best plans for delivering high standards of schooling. It appears likely a better model would be central-state collaboration for both education and health. For example, it is incredulous that Australia has 9 different laws regarding abortion in the country in the 21st century!!

The education system needs an overhaul. We are teaching kids to confirm and live in fear just like most adults do. To not think for themselves and question everything they are being taught.

Modern Australian governments are untrustworthy be it state or federal, but I will agree because it takes power from the corrupt leftist federal government

A clear and fair funding model should be developed to balance the outcome and result of schools funding.

Public schools should be funded nationally, meaning teachers in all states are paid equally. This will strengthen the union and allow better delivery of education across the nation.

The government should be responsible for the funding but if the state wants to fund their schools as well they should

The ridiculous amount given to independent schools should be reduced (not entirely removed). If given over to the states, they shouldn’t just be told to ‘find the money’
