The latest Henley Passport Index reveals a significant shift in global travel freedom, with the US passport dropping to its lowest-ever position at 10th place.
Asian countries, particularly Singapore, Japan, and South Korea, now lead the rankings, offering their citizens visa-free access to the most destinations worldwide. Meanwhile, India has made its biggest leap in over a decade, climbing to 77th place and gaining access to 59 visa-free destinations. The rankings highlight a growing mobility gap, with some countries improving their global access while others, like the US and UK, continue to slide.
These changes reflect evolving diplomatic relationships and shifting global influence in international travel.
