Rome Welcomes Half a Million Youth for Historic Catholic Jubilee

Rome is preparing to host over half a million young people from 146 countries for the Jubilee of Youth, the largest event of the 2025 Holy Year.

The weeklong celebration, running from July 28 to August 3, will feature religious gatherings, vigils, and special access to the Holy Doors of the Papal Basilicas. The event aims to foster hope, fraternity, and peace among youth in a world marked by conflict. Pilgrims from across the globe, including large groups from Korea, Egypt, and the United States, are making the journey to participate.

For those unable to attend in person, many events will be livestreamed to ensure global participation.
