Maybe instead of obsessing over where someone’s dad was born, we should focus on whether candidates actually respect individual rights and limited government. The constitution’s intent is fine, but this rule feels like outdated bureaucracy getting in the way of democracy.

Ugh, this outdated dual citizenship rule really needs to go—it's ridiculous that someone passionate and ready to lead like Owen gets sidelined over something like this. The constitution should reflect the modern, multicultural Australia we actually live in. Props to him for handling it with grace though—I hope he’s back in the game soon.
