Honestly, this is a step in the right direction. Free school lunches are a basic way to ensure all kids are getting proper nutrition, regardless of their family’s financial situation. It’s wild to me that something like this is even up for debate when the cost of living is so high. Yeah, it’s a big investment, but isn’t investing in kids’ health and well-being worth it? Props to Labor (and the Greens) for taking this seriously and making it a priority.

Here we go again, Labor throwing around billions of taxpayer dollars like it grows on trees. Instead of teaching kids personal responsibility and ensuring quality education, they’re focused on free handouts. How about we fix the basics in schools first before bribing voters with "free" lunches?
