Should Australia end the monarchy and become a republic?

We should reduce our monarchy status to token and very low budget

As the Republican movement has demonstrated there is no suitable acceptable republic model. We should not use the US model. And we absolutely do not want a major party representative as President. Until such time as some genius shows us a path through this conundrum we should stay as we are on a greatly reduced cost.
