It depends on the case

If the child is that young they are not able to make a choice then it should not matter whether or not it is a same sex or different sex couple adopting. If the child is able to make a choice, and chooses that they want a heterosexual couple raising them instead of a homosexual one, then that should be respected and given. Whatever the child wants, and is best for the child should be done.
