it shouldnt be a criminal offense but they should have to do some sort of work for the community but paid so they can get back on their feet

Homeless people should be able camp on public land because the government should be looking out for everyone and if there want to camp on public land they can.

Every human on this Earth has different quirks and triggers. There are a hundred reasons a homeless person would deny a certain Encampment, from risk of negative influence to risk of assault or systemic abuse. People do not deserve to be criminalised for wanting to keep themselves safe.

Requires a housing and health response, not enough social and supportive housing available right now.

People on the street can be subject to abuse and violence. They, and the public, are safer when they are housed.

Why should people be convicted simply because the government is unable to support them financially by providing more opportunities

If we don't allow some form of "shanty town" where do the homeless people go? You can't expect people to give up everything they own, pets, safety, community...just for one-off nights in shelters, so other options must be available and they should be made to be as safe as possible

People are often thrown out into the street because of unfair situations. Lying on a bench or outside a shop for a night ensures safety but also respects their dignity.

housing is a human right, if a government fails to house someone, that person should not be criminalised for it. its a government job to ensure all citizens have a basic standard of life.

Homeless people get bullied a lot, and making housing for them isn't good because then people would target the houses
