There's no reason being LGBT should be a factor in the decision. Just select the best families for the benefit of the children.

Giving a child a loving and supportive home should be the priority. Regardless of the genders of the parents. Kids from straight couples can still end up with broken and divorced homes, and therefore being raised by a single parent. Anyone who is background checked and wants to take a child into their home should have the equal opportunity to do so.

Everyone is a human. No person should be prioritised over someone else for whom they are attracted to.

I was abused by straight parents- I was fostered by a gay couple who treated me better.

someone’s sexuality shouldn’t be a. Issue

There are so many children in need of safe, loving homes and denying same sex couples adoption rights only harms these kids.

Gay couples quite literally cannot have children, straight people can unless certain circumstances. it should be fair

Male Female two parent households are statistically proven to give greater future outcomes for the children in relation to other structures, as such it is in the child's and society at larges best interest to maximise future outcomes through prioritising heterosexual couples in adoption.

Why? Should children not be given to a family that can sufficiently support and care for them, regardless of their relationships nature?

 @B3PKLV4Greendisagreed…2mos2MO

The most important criteria is parents who will love and care for the child. Nothing to do with their sexuality

 @B2Y5C3X disagreed…2mos2MO

the priority of adoption agencies is to find a good and loving home a gay couple can provide that just as well as any heterosexual couple can

why does the gender and/or sex orientation of a parent determine who is more eligible or ‘should’ get children?
