Whilst I agree that women in combat places them in a high risk situation for sa, i think that is a systematic issue for which needs to be addressed. it is never the woman's fault, and implying that it is for taking a role in combat feeds into that mentality.
Men and women can simply be confined to different barracks and other resting quarters. Furthermore, with the right discipline and cooperation, it can be effectively prevented. Also, does putting women in combat roles even necessarily increase the risk of sexual assault any more so for women in non-combat roles or even in civilian life in general?
