Yes
I don't know where you expect the homeless to go. Many feel safer in groups and not in homeless shelters where they are robbed and assaulted.

Should the government provide assistance to homeowners facing foreclosure?
Yes
People should be obtaining help well before foreclosure. I am very supportive in the government funding financial counselling and debt help prior to this point.
