How would you reconcile differences between personal freedom and a political party’s religiously influenced policies?
@9WFQKF74mos4MO
Church should ALWAYS be separated from legislation and law. The practice of religion in politics is arbitrary as the bible is open to interpretation and there are many ways that scripture can be interpreted and used as an argument for or against someone's point

I think you should be able to have your own beliefs and not be discriminated against by a religion you are not a part of, they can, Of course, discourage what they think is wrong, but they cannot tell a person that they are sick or a terrible person for not following the laws of a religion they are not part of, this can be applied the same way, a person cannot tell a person of religion what they can and cannot do.
For this reason, I do not believe that a policy influenced by religion has a place, unless it benefits the majority of people, and does not hurt others.
