Classic. The problem isn’t that private companies were involved—it’s that the state failed to ensure proper oversight in the first place. Now, instead of fixing the real issues, they’re just shutting out competition and doubling down on bureaucracy. Public hospitals aren’t exactly known for efficiency, so I’m not sure how this increases patient safety. If anything, this just means less innovation, less accountability, and more taxpayer money down the drain.
