It's about time some tax relief made it through, even if it’s not as ambitious as it should be

The fact that the Coalition outright opposed it just shows how out of touch they are with everyday Australians struggling with the cost of living. Labor's plan isn’t perfect, but at least it’s a step in the right direction—something the Coalition clearly isn’t interested in. Honestly, they seem more focused on protecting the wealthy than helping the majority of taxpayers. Voters won’t forget who actually delivered them a tax cut when the next election rolls around.
