Peter Dutton is absolutely right on this—why should Aussies have to put up with violent criminals who have another country they can be sent back to? If you commit serious crimes like terrorism or child exploitation, you’ve forfeited your right to stay here, plain and simple. Labor calling this a "distraction" just shows how out of touch they are with regular Australians who want safer communities. Sure, the referendum might cost a bit, but what’s the price of keeping our streets safe? The left always cries about "Trumpian" politics, but if that means putting Australians first, then so be it!
