Given the recent rejection of the Indigenous Voice referendum, it just seems tone-deaf to launch a party called 'Australia’s Voice' without properly considering the impact on First Nations communities. It’s frustrating because there are so many important issues that need attention right now, like the aftermath of the referendum and addressing systemic inequalities. Instead, it looks like Payman is making it more about her own political brand than the real issues Australians are facing. Plus, throwing in the Israel-Gaza conflict as part of the party’s focus feels like she’s just trying to grab headlines rather than offer meaningful solutions. Hopefully, she listens to the criticism and takes a step back to reconsider. We need leaders who prioritize people, not their own careers.
