I think the government could put more pressure on the power companies to lower their rates same with supermarkets and the Huge profits they are making from price gouging

No, the government has done nothing to target the practices of the corporate entities at the heart of our inflation problem. Break up the monopolies, duopolies and monopsonies, like Coles and Woolworths

It takes time but it's heading in the right direction

Not only have they not done enough, they also caused hyperinflation.
