I definitely do, it encourages me to read up on the particular issue. To understand where both arguments are coming from. I have attended school strike protests and felt incredibly empowered and felt hope that a strong body of people are super passionate about changing the status quo for the beneift of all people.

 @9KFD4YDLabordisagreed…9mos9MO

To me- protests don't raise awareness of a social issue, because they are too often taken advantage of by people who commit criminal activites. I.e. looting during the black lives matter movement

 @9QPSL6Ganswered…5mos5MO

I support the rights of people to peacefully protest against non aggressive policies or behavours from organisations they disagree with.

  @9PR7N3P answered…5mos5MO

Protests seems to be usually carried out by bored individuals who have no valid meaning in their life. They inspire me to pray for their freedom. The issue they are protesting is never the issue.

 @9PDPBQYanswered…5mos5MO

It depends what kind of protests. For instance, the pro-Palestine protests are a complete blunder on society, and they must be suppressed. But protests to free whistleblowers, and encourage greater accountability within government, I understand and support those.

More often than not I do not however that could be due to the negative spin media gives such protest in order to keep the corporate elite in power and workers subdued

 @9QXFSJPanswered…4mos4MO

I feel the need to act, though not necessarily for the cause or stance they stand for on tv.

More often than not, I do not. However, that could be due to the negative spin media gives such protests in order to keep the corporate elite in power and workers subdued

I remain passive on this topic, however if it is something I am compelled by, It inspires me.

 @9K9WG9KGreenanswered…9mos9MO

I feel inspired, and attend, many protests where i am interested in the issue at hand

 @9K9V25NGreenanswered…9mos9MO

Protesting is a necessary function that is unfortunately being made harder and more legally compromised to participate in.

I admire people fighting for what they believe in, I do feel inspired to act in some cases, depending on whether I agree with the cause or not.

 @9KBCPY2One Nationanswered…9mos9MO

I’m all for people to have the right to pro as long as it does not interfere with anything or anyone

 @9K9ZY6CGreenanswered…9mos9MO

Yeah for sure. It's always a good reminder to take part in the social issues I think are important. I'm always really grateful people are out there doing it when often I can't.

 @9LMGB96answered…7mos7MO

Depends on the protests. If I see reason behind it I will feel inspired and interested, as the power of people to influence the Government in making actions FOR them is great.

 @9LK9VZLanswered…7mos7MO

No, I don't feel inspired to act a majority of the time. Currently the main protests I hear about are the Palestine protests, and that is an issue which I have no opinion on and I feel my time would be wasted attending one.

 @9K9ZQGLanswered…9mos9MO

I want more social activism because the government lacks the incentives to help us on their own because of corporate donations

 @9K9TVQCLaboranswered…9mos9MO

I do not feel inspired to act because protest are never positive there is always negativity and riots involved.

 @9K9TR8TLaboranswered…9mos9MO

it makes me feel inspired to learn about the topic t hand but not to protest as some protest can lead to serious injury and death, and it may have been all for nothing.

 @9KB675YLaboranswered…9mos9MO

Often, although I am prevented for demonstrating often due to geographical factors- I live an hour away from Sydney.

 @9KB4BP7Greenanswered…9mos9MO

I do feel inspired to act. For me personally, I try to spread as much awareness on societal issues as much as possible through social media, attending protests, and staying updated on current affairs.

 @9K9VRJFGreenanswered…9mos9MO

Social activism in my opinion is a great thing. It brings the dark parts of the world to light in attempt to make them heard. This inspires me to donate, help out and get involved with a cause i think is right when i see it activated.

 @9KC5RBMGreenanswered…9mos9MO

I have been to quite a few protests and feel they are necessary to get your point across to not only governments, but to the media.

 @9KC39TYLaboranswered…9mos9MO

I find it incredibly inspiring seeing young people who I can relate to standing up for their beliefs and doing so in a public way. For me this looks like joining in on protests when people I know are doing the same because it feels important to be a part of the change needed.

 @9K9WYC6Liberalanswered…9mos9MO

Depends. If they are throwing tomatoes on the mona lisa for climate change then they're annoying, disrespectful and should be put in jail. At least keep your dignity when protesting otherwise its counteractive.

 @9LMGCWVanswered…7mos7MO

I find it admirable that people are protesting for what they believe in. I feel inspired to act if I agree with what the people are protesting with.

 @9LMDLMFanswered…7mos7MO

I do feel inspired, the way do it, however, is through spreading awareness of the subject, as I feel as if my individual protest will not really make a difference, but with the support of large groups of people, who are educated and knowledgeable on the subject, we as a group can make a difference

 @9LLPTB5answered…7mos7MO

No I don’t feel inspired unless it’s something that will truly affect us in the future.
