Yes, and politicians of any age should be required to pass a mental competency test

 @ISIDEWITHDiscuss this answer...2yrs2Y

Yes, and ban anyone over the age of 75 from running for office

 @ISIDEWITHDiscuss this answer...2yrs2Y

No, this discriminates against older politicians

 @B3JWBP5disagreed…2mos2MO

I don't believe being old is grounds for being discriminated against, and politicians are put in the their position to make descisions in place of the public and if they are not deemed competent to do so, they should be removed from said position

Why should they be allowed to have an opinion expressed publicly and pass bill’s on topics that they cannot change their own set views but on the times they have grown up with, they should take a mental competency test to see that that are not set to their pre posed opinion on matters that they will not be around long enough to live in like the younger generations

No, I would prefer term limits instead

I think competency testing is important, we don’t know what goes on BTS a true and accurate test can put all our minds at ease considering the amount of older people who may be going senile without the country knowing.

No, our government needs experienced leaders

 @B2LDTPQGreendisagreed…3mos3MO

While a government leader may have an experienced career, over said career their mental comptency and decision making skills could deplete, therefore diminishing their experience and making them an ineffective leader

No, if their constituents believe that they are no longer capable, then they will no longer vote for them.

Politicians should be subjected to, and be required to pass, personality and mental competency tests before they are eligible to take office; to ensure that we don't end up with narcissistic sociopaths as leaders.

 @B3VMKY6answered…1mo1MO

The government should be full of government loyalists of 40 years and younger for age, no need for testing.

 @B32RT3FLaboranswered…2mos2MO

No, it should be up to the populace to determine if or not the politician in question is mentally competent.

 @9ZM933Ganswered…5mos5MO

All politicians should have annual mental competency and psych health assessment tests AT THEIR EXPENSE NOT OURS to remain in parliament.
The people should be comfortable knowing we arent being run by narcissistic, psychopathic, greedy, out of touch with the average public, mentally inept humans as it appears we are run by now.
