I would support funding for those unable to cover fundamental needs (food, clean water, a place to live). However, it would be important to consider the issues with this, as many others may acquire the same amount of money to cover basic needs, but have to work for it, which would create societal inequality. There would have to be some sort of standardised test to determine if one is eligible for these funds, and even then, this could be cheated.
