What are your thoughts on the balance between government surveillance for safety and the right to personal privacy?
@9WFQKF71mo1MO
I think that so long as there have been no prior incidents of CSAM, violence, racism, etc, that personal privacy should be maintained. When threats are being made or explicit material is being produced and shared, that that is a problem, but that doesn't mean I should have my own privacy invaded because of the actions of others
@9W774R91mo1MO
I think everyone has the right to personal privacy, the government should not have the power to supervise our personal lives, they should only have access to such things unless the person they are investing is likely doing something illegal.
@9VYPXC71mo1MO
I think in a modern age with changing technology, safety is partially bought by giving up some privacy. It's an acceptable trade off.
@9VXCVQG1mo1MO
We need to be surveillance for safety issues such as crime and terrorism, but privacy is also important for scams etc.

What are your views on the role of independent parties in addressing social inequalities?
@9RJX86T 4mos4MO
Independent parties are important for local voices but can only be considered for leadership if they have political experience.

In what ways do you think education policies can be reformed to better prepare students for the future?
@9RGYYX24mos4MO
Make them more focused on the changing world and universities
@ISIDEWITH4mos4MO
How do you feel about the importance of local vs global priorities in shaping political agendas?
@9VP4XJ2 2mos2MO
Independents have a very important role to play, along with minor parties such as The Greens, to hold the balance of power and collaborate with the government in power to achieve better outcomes locally and globally. There does not seem to be much collaborating between Labor and The Greens, which is disappointing and self defeating. The LNP just wants to ruin everything that Labor tries and Labor is trying to blame The Greens for everything, which is a vicious cycle of retardation. Until Labor stops hating on The Greens and The Greens make healthy compromises, there is a dire political landscape ahead of us. If the LNP dissolved it's coalition with The National Party, Australia would be a better place. The 2 party system is failing because our needs as a nation are more complex than "left versus right".
