I think the idea of a public ban on plastic is a good idea, however, at the moment the current alternatives still require alot of deforestation and other eco unfriendly methods of providing packaging and other building materials using plastic. I think having a reduction of 50 percent is a good start with the hopes of reaching 75 percent in future
I feel that this ban is not necessary as plastic is not an instant effect onto the current climate issues just a prevention to further climate issues but if we focus more on this now more than the actual problem we won't get anywhere.

Yes, we should ban all products that aren't 75% made up of biodegradable materials since not only is it beneficial for the environment, but also beneficial for us. The better the environment is, the better our health can become.

Plastic produce is not the main source climate change, and believing that the general population is responsible for climate change instead of big corporations is the lie that they want you to believe.
