Aboriginal people have faced too much oppression, genocide and colonialism, so they need constitutional recognition. A Voice would greatly help.

The thing with the vote that it was to provide more recognition of Aboriginals and Torres Strait Islanders to the constitution and to prevent and future government from banning or blocking bills meant to support these communities; it was never going to construct a divide. Therefore, the vote had to pass to continue the advancement of the rights of Aboriginals and Torres Strait Islanders.

I feel as if it is unfair because in New Zealand they recognise the Maori population - it is embarrassing here.
