It is ironic that the average working Registered Nurse working in a private hospital can not afford private health insurance to receive care that is provided by that nurse. Healthcare services need to be accessible by everyone even if it means increased taxes for that purpose. The healthcare system must be forward moving only.

Less. Public health is all our problem. Privatisation = profit for a select few

 @Glenmarfrom Western Australia  answered…4yrs4Y

Absolutely not or we will end up like the USA where people's health will be dependent upon if they have insurance or not. The medicare system as it is has been working so why change it.

Health should be about health not about profits. Everything Australia has privatised has hurt EVERY SINGLE AUSTRALIAN especially in $'s. We have worn the high cost of everything you have taken away from us. You want people to be unable to access health, follow the american way and privatise it, want a healthy australia, get private corporate interests out of our health care.
STOP SELLING US OFF TO CORPORATE INTERESTS FOR FINANCIAL GAIN!!!

Less privatisation, however the public system needs to be accountable for health outcomes and spending. Compared to private companies, public health systems are very bad at monitoring spending. Privatisation is good for choice, but it should not be prioritized over universal health care.

Less, reduce privatisation of hospitals but increase privatisation of health care services like specialist

 @9HCXTZWanswered…12mos12MO

Provide more government funding to the industry, while allowing certain healthcare services to keep their private status.

The healthcare system should be free along with sanitary and food services. Healthcare system between the rich and poor should be the same. They all should be goverment hospitals and a bill should be put in place and enforced to raise the percentile of money being given to hospitals/healthcare by the government
