Do you support building a nuclear waste storage facility in the Northern Territory?
No, move the dumps to Central Australia where it is geologically stable
Whilst Central Australia is Indigenous land and has significant sites and history, the opportunity to introduce nuclear energy reduces land usage of coal mines and the follow effects. Having a site in Northern Territory would involve a collaborative response from community members, elders and governing bodies. As such the implementation of a nuclear waste site, wouldn't require mass amounts of land, and could be an off-site governed facility and provide potential jobs.
