It will hurt families financially as they will need to pay more for school fees. This will undoubtedly create inequality.

Education is a right granted under the UN Convention on the rights of the child. Privatising the education system is unjust and will ensure that all children who cannot afford a proper education will not get one and allow for private schools to have further lobbying power leading to increased discrimination of students and their families, and teaching nonsense such as religion in schools, where it has no place.

Education should be entirely free as we otherwise may risk a failing population and a smaller workforce. As many people likely can't afford an expensive education.
