Given the resource of information that is publicly available on the internet today, it is no surprise that people use it for terroristic activities. Terrorists are intelligent and calculated, they are able to use technologies that can hide their personal information such as their up address. For example a VPN can hide a senders internet provider and city from the rest of the internet, another technology called Tor browsing can make this even harder and almost impossible to retrieve any information from an internet user. Whilst government surveillance has good intentions it is likely to affect the least harmful individuals that aren’t good with technology.
