This is such an annoying argument because banning this shotgun wont fix any crime committed, if criminals are so desperate to commit crime, they will do it with absolutely anything. As a recreational shooter I know that this shotgun wouldn't be any more or less dangerous than any other weapon, sure you can fire faster but you can also fire fast with a lot of other rifles that are currently legal, all this is doing is taking away freedom from legal shooters, worse case scenario, you could always put this shotgun under the semi-auto firearm category but banning it is ridicules.

Recreational shotguns may be fine, but how can normal people be assured that the shotgun would not be used for criminal purposes?
This is a highly important shotgun used by ranchers and farmers to kill vermin foxes and other factors that are highly crucial to farm-work and we could use systems in place to stop other people than farmers and ranch workers to buying/acquiring this gun

I oppose this because the ban is completely unnecessary. Farmers rely on it for hunting or for pest control (if one is unable to acquire a semi-automatic). It's the best weapon a farmer can have. It's effectiveness, reliability, price and ammo capacity are the primary reason for the purchase.

It’s not banned. It’s not a criminal issue as suggested above. It’s only available legally to licensed individuals.
The Adler A110 ban is a unreasonable decision by our government. The Alder A110 Lever-Action Shotgun is not like an American ArmaLight Rifle and will not kill as fast as one. However, I am in favour of banning 8 gauge.
