Diversity is a key aspect of Australia's nationality, and so it has little impact on me as an individual. Every individual is, an should be allowed, to continue to express themselves, and their culture/language however they want, or however they feel comfortable to.

Australia is a nation of immigrants. First nations people only represent 3.8% of the nations population, meaning the other 96.2% have come from another country, somewhere in their families past. With that in mind, it makes little logical sense to draw a line in the sand between why we would widely accept an Irish immigrant, but not a Malaysian one, when both are immigrants bringing their own unique culture to Australia. We should not base the value of an immigrant in how close they are to Anglo cultures, as Australia is its own country that needs to find independence from England, and the diverse melting pot of cultures it is becoming is assisting the nation in forming its own unique and valuable identity.
